The City of Port Neches will be conducting a free chlorine disinfection of the distribution system for the next 30 days. Due to the raw water quality that the City is receiving we feel this will help alleviate the taste complaints we have received. Citizens may notice a mild chlorine odor for the next couple of weeks. This will dissipate over time. The water will be perfectly safe to drink and use. If you are on dialysis you may want to check with your physician. If you have questions please contact the water treatment plant at 409-722-4024.
Thank You
Phillip Pryor.
