The Most common causes of leaks are dripping faucets, leaking joints, and leaking toilets. Slow drips can total to a substantial amount of water bill in a short period of time. To check for a leak:
- Turn off all indoor and outdoor faucets and water using appliances.
- Go to the meter and observe it for 5 to 10 minutes. If the meter (dials or gauge) continues to move, a leak is likely.
