The City of Port Neches collects and disposes of household garbage and trash two times a week.

Greenwaste is a separate collection and consist of limbs, tree trimmings, and other vegetative debris.  This collection is once a week.  All limbs must be no longer than four (4) feet and neatly stacked.

Quantities for one collection service means a quantity of twelve (12) uncompacted yards. Heavy accumulation, or more than ordinary quantities, are not included in the services furnished by the City’s Sanitation Department and the owners, occupants or other persons in charge of such places shall remove garbage, trash and rubbish therefrom, at their own expense.

Citizens should have their garbage, trash and greenwaste out by 7:30 a.m. on collection day.  Citizens should never pile waste in ditches or sweep waste into storm drains as this could cause flooding.

If a contractor is hired to trim or cut down a tree, the contractor is responsible for disposal.

The City also collects and disposes of the commercial business garbage in the city limits.  The City provides 5 yard dumpsters to all commercial businesses per their request.  The rate for commercial pick up is determined by the schedule that is provided by the businesses.

Citizens may take their trash to Republic (BFI) Landfill that is located on LaBelle Road.  Go west on Highway 365 then turn right on LaBelle Road and go five (5) miles to the landfill entrance on the east side of the road.  The address is 6433 LaBelle Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705.  To gain entry with no disposable charge, citizens will need to present a current Port Neches water bill and a valid driver license with a Port Neches address.
